Med.Action Bambini con Elias ODV welcomes three new members to its Board of Directors

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Dr. Giovanna Passarella, Dr. Roberto Crepaz, and Dr. Ermanno Bellanti to the Board of Directors of Med.Action Bambini con Elias ODV. Three professionals who bring to the Association a wealth of clinical experience, scientific expertise, and deep humanitarian commitment.

Their appointment represents an important step in the growth of our Association and further strengthens the quality of the project we have been carrying forward for years: providing care for children affected by congenital heart diseases in countries with limited resources while, at the same time, training local healthcare professionals so they can progressively become independent in the diagnosis and treatment of paediatric heart conditions.

Dr. Giovanna Passarella, paediatric cardiologist, brings extensive experience in the care of young patients and in paediatric emergency training, contributing valuable expertise both in clinical practice and education.

Dr. Roberto Crepaz, one of Italy’s leading experts in paediatric cardiology, has dedicated his career to the study and treatment of congenital heart diseases. He has also distinguished himself through his participation in numerous international humanitarian missions and through his extensive scientific work. His experience represents a significant asset for the development of Med.Action Bambini’s activities.

Dr. Ermanno Bellanti, a cardiac surgeon specialising in congenital heart diseases, is involved both in clinical practice and research on paediatric cardiac surgery and access to care in low-resource settings — a vision that perfectly aligns with the values guiding our Association.

The addition of these three professionals strengthens our Board of Directors and provides new momentum to continue developing increasingly effective and sustainable international healthcare cooperation projects, capable of generating a lasting impact.

On behalf of everyone at Med.Action Bambini con Elias ODV, we extend our warmest welcome to our new Board members and wish them a journey filled with collaboration, enthusiasm, and shared achievements.

Together, we will continue to build opportunities for care, training, and hope for many children and the communities in which we operate.
